Honoring the Truck Drivers Who Keep SHL Moving
At Southern Hospitality Liquidation (SHL), our work goes far beyond selling furniture. Every day, we depend on the dedication of America’s truck drivers to carry out our mission of keeping hotel furniture out of landfills and giving it a second life.
These men and women spend countless hours behind the wheel, often away from their families, making sure deliveries arrive safely and on time. Their work is demanding—long stretches of road, unpredictable weather, and heavy schedules—but it’s because of their commitment that SHL can serve clients across multiple states and locations.
Not all of our furniture is shipped from our Cartersville warehouse. Often, pieces are transferred directly from one hotel property to another, enabling hoteliers and property managers to furnish their spaces quickly and affordably. Whether it’s transporting liquidation packages to another hotel, an Airbnb host, or a rental owner, our truck drivers make it possible.
Truck drivers are more than delivery partners; they are the backbone of SHL’s operations and an essential part of what keeps America moving. With every mile they drive, they connect hotels, businesses, and communities with sustainable, commercial-grade furniture built to last.
At SHL, we’re proud to recognize and appreciate their sacrifices—the long hours, the time away from home, and the commitment it takes to keep our economy and our mission rolling forward.
